There are two methods for renaming a table within the portal:
1. By changing the name of the linked record field in Airtable
To rename a table in the portal, modify the corresponding linked record field's name in your portal's users table. Go to the users table in Airtable and find the linked record field you wish to rename. After you've updated the name, the change will automatically appear in MiniExtensions.
Changing the name of the actual data table in Airtable will not change the name of the table in miniExtensions, since miniExtensions uses the names of the linked record fields in the users table to retrieve the name of the table.
2. By adding a custom name in the extension settings.
To add a custom name, you need to go to the:
Portal Tables.
Click on the table that you wish to rename.
Go to Standard Options.
Enter a value in the Title field.
This will change the name of the table displayed to your portal users. The custom name will also be shown next to the linked record field name on the configuration page (Your Invoices in this example):
