When displaying an existing record, you can hide an empty field by opening that field’s settings and enabling Hide field if empty. This is useful for read-only fields that would otherwise show No value.
No value means that this particular field is empty; it does not by itself mean the record failed to save. No records found refers to a list or search with no matching records, rather than a single empty field.
This setting hides the field in the form. It does not remove the corresponding column from a portal grid. For a new-record form or more specific visibility rules, use conditional fields:

This feature makes the most sense when users are editing records (not creating new ones)
