To turn this feature on, you need to go to:
Portal Tables
Click on one of the tables
Views section
Layout should be set to Grid
Turn on Enable inline edit on the grid toggle
In the grid, the pencil icon will become available.
When you click on this button, it will initiate the opening of the child form that includes the specific field you intend to edit. The field validation will exclusively apply to this particular field.
