Using a specific GPT model
Using a specific model with our ChatGPT's model on Airtable automation is very straightforward. Simply go to
Your automation's configuration page
Select the GPT Model section
Set Model to Custom Model
Enter the model name string in the Custom Model Name field
You can get the current model names here. Please keep in mind that you need to use the full model name string, which does not contain any spaces, for example:
use "gpt-4o-mini" instead of "GPT-4o mini"
use "gpt-4-turbo" instead of "GPT-4 Turbo"
Your OpenAI account needs to have access to the selected model! You can find out which models are available to which usage tiers here.
Using a dynamic prompt
You can use an Airtable field as the prompt source for each Airtable record. To do this, select Airtable Field as the Additional Prompt Type in the automation Setup section:
