If your users need to add a lot of data to Airtable quickly, perhaps from something like a Google Sheet or Excel file, you can take advantage of our CSV Importer automation!
To achieve this, you would prepare a file with the required format, and share the editable link to the file with your users so they can then add their data to it. This is closely related to the video shown on the automation's product page. The only difference would be that you'd also need to allow your users access to the file so they can input the data, instead of you entering it yourself. The rest of the process is exactly the same as in the video, where you can automatically import the CSV at a given interval, or through a webhook or Airtable automation.
If you're using Google Sheets for this, you will need to use both the Share with others and Publish to web features. Sharing with others lets your users enter the data, and publish to web lets our automation pull that data into Airtable!
It's a good idea to protect the header cells from editing before sharing the editable link with your users. The format needs to be in line with Airtable, so any edits to the header can break the import process.
