When do line items get linked if Save & Continue mode is enabled?

Saving a line item with Save & Continue can create or update it in Airtable before the parent form is finally submitted. If the parent record already exists—including a draft saved with Save & Continue—the line item can be linked to it when the child record is saved. If the parent record has not been created yet, the link cannot be established until that record exists.
