How to trigger a miniExtensions automation from Airtable

I need to run it automatically on a schedule or when a new record is created.

You can trigger a miniExtensions automation from within Airtable by running a script in your Airtable automation. Here are the steps:

  1. Follow this tutorial to create an Airtable automation if you don't have one already.

  2. For the step of adding an action, you'll want to choose running a script and then paste the script from miniExtensions. You can find the script by going to:

    1. Your automation's configuration

    2. Run

    3. Advanced

    4. Run inside Airtable.

Airtable supports many different triggers for its automations, such as a record entering a view, being created, updated, or matching certain conditions. Any Airtable trigger can execute an automation as a script.

We encourage you to watch the video that's shown after you click on Run inside Airtable, since it goes into more detail on all of this.
