This option is available for the Portal and Interface extensions and is only supported for Grid views.
To enable this option for your extension, do the following:
Go to the Tables section of your portal or interface
Click on the table
In the User Actions section, enable the Download records as CSV toggle. If your views are set to use custom view settings (under View Type in each view's settings), change the toggle in the view's User Actions section instead.
Once activated, your users will see a download button just above the grid view:
Rich-text fields in CSV exports
Rich-text formatting is not preserved in CSV exports, and longer rich-text content can be cut short. If you need the complete text, put it in a separate Long text field with rich-text formatting turned off in Airtable, and include that field in the export. Keep the original rich-text field if you still need its formatting.
Download a sample CSV and check that the full text is present before relying on the export. This limitation concerns the contents of a field, not the number of records downloaded.
