To find this feature, go to the Engagement section in your Form or Portal settings, and then turn on Enable Airtable comments on child forms.

Comments are only displayed on child forms. Users can only add comments when editing records, not while creating new ones.

You have the option to choose an Airtable field that will be used as the name of the commenter when adding a comment through miniExtensions. Below you can see how the commenter's name will appear in Airtable. The user will always be the account you connected to miniExtensions, but the field you choose as the commenter name will be displayed in curly brackets:

In miniExtensions, these commenter names are automatically formatted nicely:
