When creating a new portal, the title shown in the portal itself, as well as in the browser tab will default to the extension name. You can change this by going to the Header & Profile section of your Portal's extension settings page.
There, you will find options to change:
Portal Page Title (what is shown in the browser tab):
Portal Header Title (what is shown in the portal header or side bar):
You can choose the Portal Header Title to be either:
The extension name (default)
Based on an Airtable field. This can be text or an image (including Attachment fields and Lookup fields that display an attachment).
A logo uploaded directly to the portal's configuration
Note: The "Airtable field" option is not available for Shared View extensions.
Portal Description: This setting shows a description below the list of portal tables when using side bar mode. This can be used to provide instructions to your users, or further helpful links. This feature is not available when displaying the portal menu as a top bar.
Table Header
You can add formatted text, links, and images to the table header following the steps below:
Go to Table Description in the Options section.
Add the information you want to display and use the toolbar to format it. To add images, select the picture icon on the far right of the description toolbar.
You can also choose to truncate the description, so long blocks of text need to expanded first. This can help decrease clutter while still providing useful information.
You can add one or multiple images to each table's description and use them as header images and more.
