1. Form Fields
2. Click on the attachment field
3. Attachment style section
4. Adjust Thumbnail Size and Thumbnail Fit

Thumbnail Fit set to "Cover" will provide a thumbnail that completely fills its bounding box by cropping it to the correct aspect ratio, whereas "Contain" will ensure that the full preview is displayed, which can lead to a smaller overall thumbnail.
