To turn on barcode scanning for the Record Finder, you need to go to:
Linked record field settings
Record Finder Options section
Show records finder should be turned on.
Record finder mode should be set to List
Allow users to scan barcodes & QR codes in finder
When using the barcode scanner feature, the first record in the list will be selected. This will allow users to rapidly scan barcodes.
