There are three primary actions that can reset your child form by replacing the configured form with a new one for a different purpose. These scenarios include:
Removing the ability to create or edit records: Disabling the toggles for creating or expanding records will result in a new child form being displayed, depending on the option you deselect. For example, if you disable creating new records, you'll see the child form that expands records; if you disable expanding records, you'll see the child form for creating records.
Going from using the same form to using different forms: If you change the setting from using the same form for both creating and editing records to using separate forms, the originally configured form will no longer appear. Returning to the shared form setting will restore your previous configuration.
Adding or selecting a different version of the form: Clicking the blue button next to the “Edit Form” button allows you to add a new version of the child form. Adding a new version will temporarily hide your previous form until you reselect it.
💡 Note: For all the scenarios described above, the forms operate independently. If you revert to the original settings, your previous configuration will remain intact and can be restored.
