How to generate Webpages from Airtable Records

You can use our 'Convert HTML to Webpages' automation to generate webpages for your Airtable records. This will generate a link for each record in a table that displays the HTML from the selected field.

If a custom domain is set up for your workspace the formula will automatically be generated using the custom domain.

Setup

  1. In Airtable, prepare a text field containing the HTML for each page. You can use a formula field if you want to combine record values with a reusable page layout.

  2. Create this automation and select the Airtable base and table you want to use.

  3. Under Webpage Generator, select your content field as HTML Field.

  4. Open Formula For Web Page, copy the generated formula, and paste it into an Airtable formula field. This gives each record its own webpage link.

  5. Open a link from a test record and check the page. Test records with different values before sharing the links.

For example, you could create a product detail page, a formatted record summary, or a custom-designed floor-plan page. You supply the HTML layout; this is not a built-in floor-plan designer or a floor-plan mode for the Map interface.

See how to include an attachment image if your page needs pictures. If edited HTML is not visible immediately, see webpage refresh timing.
