You can use our Add/Remove PDF Password on Airtable automation for this use case. It allows you to add passwords to PDF files in bulk, and can also make an attempt to remove existing passwords.
Password removal is currently experimental.
To set it up:
Choose the Mode
Add Password
Remove Password
If adding a password, set the Password
Select the Input Field (PDFs)
Select the Output Field, where the processed files will be stored
