Why isn't the record being processed during an automation run?

There are 2 reasons why some records are not processed by an automation:

  1. The record is not included in the filter.

  2. The record already has a value in the output field, resulting in skipping the record. This can be disabled as explained in this article.

We highlight both of these cases (if applicable) in the automation's run summary when there are no records processed, so you may see a message pointing you to the filter feature or the existing data handling setting.
