Rather than having many documents go to one folder and having to sort through them to determine their content, you can download them by record, or by category. For example, Development, Engineering, etc. This is possible by using the Folder structure feature. Here's how:
In your automation's configuration, set Folder structure to Individual folder for each record.
In the Folder names setting, select Select Airtable Field.
Now choose the field that determines the folder name in the Folder Name Field setting.
All attachments with the same folder name in their records will go in the same folder. This way you can organize attachments by record, or by category (see note below).
Tip:
If the folder name field is not unique (e.g. it determines the category a record belongs to, like Development, Engineering etc.), all records from that category will end up in the same folder!
If you're using the Custom File Name Field option to rename attachments, any "/" characters in the Filename Field will cause an additional layer of folders to be created, since they are interpreted as a path.
