We have an integration with Bitly that can be used to automatically generate short URLs for links contained in Airtable records. Here's how to set it up.
Sign up for an account with Bitly.
Generate a generic access token here.
Add the access token to your miniExtensions workspace as described here.
On the miniExtensions dashboard, navigate to your base and click Create Extension.
Search for and then select Bitly Shorten URLs on Airtable.
Select the correct table and create the automation.
Under Bitly API Key, select the access token you added in step 3.
Select the field containing the full URLs under Long Urls Field.
Select the field that should contain the shortened URLs under Short Urls Field
Set the processing behavior according to your needs.
Pick the appropriate way to run the automation.
