When our extensions try to update or write a value to a field with incorrect permission, you will get the error "You are not authorized to perform this operation". The field manager is available on paid Airtable plans to base owners and creators. To review field permissions, go to:
Open the base and go to the table where the field is located.
Click the arrow beside the table name.
Choose Manage fields
Use the field manager to review field permissions. See Airtable’s field manager guide for current availability and steps.
