You can use our Bulk Image Search on Airtable automation to use Pixabay to search for images and attach them to the appropriate records in bulk.
Setup
Prepare a text field with search keywords for each record, such as “red bicycle”, and an attachment field for the resulting images.
Create this automation and select the Airtable base and table you want to use.
Add your Pixabay API key in Workspace settings and select it under Pixabay API Key in this automation. Adding the key to the workspace alone does not connect it to the automation.
Select the source as Keywords Field and the output attachment field as Images Field.
Enable Stores only the first result if you want one image per record. Otherwise the automation can store up to three returned images.
Review Processing Behavior if the output field already contains values. Only choose to overwrite data you intend to replace.
In Run, limit processing to a view containing one or two test records. Run the automation and review whether the returned images match your keywords before processing more records.
If no images match a record’s keywords, that record receives no image update. Try more specific or different keywords before running it again.
