Why do Records created by third-party Automations not appear in my Extensions right away?

I'm creating records through Zapier and Airtable automations and they only show up in my portal after 5 minutes

Updated over a week ago

This is a known limitation at the moment. The system we have in place for immediately detecting record creation/edits outside of miniExtensions cannot currently detect new records created by automation systems, be that Airtable automations, Zapier, Make etc. Please allow for up to 5 minutes for these records to appear.

If you require immediate visibility of these records, you can set up an Airtable automation that simply changes one field in the newly created record (e.g. tick a checkbox). This update should make the record appear in our extensions right away.

Important Note:

Any changes or record creation that occurs within an extension (e.g. using child forms) is reflected immediately across our platform. The limitation described here ONLY applies to third-party automation systems like Zapier, Make and Airtable automations, as well as miniExtensions forms embedded within a portal or shared view.

Furthermore, our system will immediately detect any record updates that occur outside of miniExtensions, as well as any records that are created manually within Airtable.
