How to change a checkbox field to a toggle switch or button?

You can convert how the field looks on the form by going to:

Select either "Show as toggle" to show the checkbox as a settings-style switch, or select "Show as button" to display it as a button instead.

Displaying the checkbox as a button can be useful for a better user experience when approving records, for example. You can add the checkbox to a portal grid and allow your users to hit "Approve" to approve the records, which in Airtable will simply check the checkbox.

When button mode is used, you'll need to set a label for the checked and unchecked state.
