You can generate calendar subscriptions in iCal format based on Airtable records with our 'Generate iCal Calendar URLs for Records' automation.
Setup
Prepare one record per event in Airtable, with start and end date fields and a text field for the event title.
Create this automation and select the Airtable base and table you want to use.
In iCal Data, select Event Start Date Field, Event End Date Field and Event Summary Field. The summary is the event title shown in the calendar.
Optionally select the description, location, URL, organizer name and organizer email fields. Use filtering if only records from a particular view should appear.
Open iCal URL and copy the generated calendar link. Add it to your calendar application using its subscribe-from-URL option.
Check a sample event’s title, dates and time in the calendar before sharing the link.
A calendar subscription is different from importing a one-time calendar file: when the calendar application refreshes the subscription, it can retrieve updated events. The refresh timing depends on the calendar application.
