How to add a Watermark to Images stored as Attachments

Updated today

You can use our Add Watermark automation to tile a watermark image across all images in your Airtable records. Here's how:

  1. Upload the Watermark Image โ€” the image to use as your watermark. PNG with transparency is recommended for best results.

  2. Select the Source Images Field โ€” the attachment field containing the images to add watermarks to.

  3. Select the Output Images Field โ€” the attachment field where the watermarked images will be saved.

  4. Optional: Adjust the Watermark Opacity โ€” 0 is fully transparent, 1 is fully opaque (default: 0.3).

  5. Optional: Adjust the Watermark Size (%) โ€” the watermark size as a percentage of the smaller dimension of the source image (default: 20%). The watermark is tiled (repeated) across the entire image.

  6. Optional: Enable the Error Message Field to log errors for records that encounter processing issues.
