You can set up Conditional Field options so that the field becomes visible only after certain criteria are met by following these steps:
Open the form builder.
Select the field in the preview
Expand the Conditional Field section
Click on "Add Condition" and choose your conditions.
The field will now display an icon in the preview indicating that it's only visible conditionally.
Only fields that are themselves not hidden by conditions will be taken into account in conditions! E.g. Let's assume that field A is only shown for a certain state of field B. If field B is hidden conditionally, field A will not be shown even if the state of field B is correct.
Conditions based on fields that are not on the form at all (i.e. not shown in the form outline) will still be evaluated.
If a field uses itself as the condition for its own visibility, you will see a warning in the builder. After a value is entered, the field may hide itself and users may not be able to review or change that value in the form, so it's best to avoid these conditions, unless you fully understand the consequences.
If all form fields are currently hidden by conditions, you will see a message on the form saying: "All fields are currently hidden by this form's configuration."
